Group settings have features that can be changed by anyone in the group and features that only you can change.

Changing group names:
To change a group's name, follow the steps below for your device.
Main device
Users in Japan 1. Tap the Chats tab > the Friends tab at the top of the screen.
2. Tap Groups > the group you want to configure.
3. Tap Settings > Group name.
4. Enter the group name you want to set and tap Save.

Users outside Japan 1. Tap the Home tab > Groups > the group you want to configure.
2. Tap Settings > Group name.
3. Enter the group name you want to set and tap Save.

Sub device
iPad/Android 1. Tap the Home tab > Groups > the group you want to configure.
2. Tap Settings > Group name.
3. Enter the group name you want to set and tap Save.

Windows/Mac/Chrome 1. From the main menu, click Friends.
2. Click on the profile icon of the group you want to edit.
3. Click pen icon next to the group name.
4. Enter a new group name.
5. On Windows/Mac: Click Save or press the Enter key.
    On Chrome: Click check mark.

Main device
Users in Japan 1. Tap the Chats tab > the Friends tab at the top of the screen.
2. Tap Groups > the group you want to configure.
3. Tap Settings > the group's profile icon.
4. Tap Open camera or Select profile icon > Select photo.
5. Take or select a photo.
6. Adjust the photo size on the preview screen, then tap Next.
7. Edit the photo any way you like, then tap Done.

Users outside Japan 1. Tap the Home tab > Groups > the group you want to configure.
2. Tap Settings > the group's profile icon.
3. Tap Open camera or Select profile icon > Select photo.
4. Take or select a photo.
5. Adjust the photo size on the preview screen, then tap Next.
6. Edit the photo any way you like, then tap Done.

You can also set a profile icon by selecting a photo shown on the Group profile icon screen and tapping Done or check mark.
Sub device
iPad/Android 1. Tap the Home tab > Groups > the group you want to configure.
2. Tap Settings > the group's profile icon.
3. Tap Open camera or Select profile icon > Select photo.
4. Take or select a photo.
5. Adjust the photo size on the preview screen, then tap Next.
6. Edit the photo any way you like, then tap Done.

Windows/Mac 1. From the main menu, click Friends.
2. Right-click the group you want to edit.
3. Click Edit this Group.
4. Click camera icon on the profile icon.
5. Choose your preferred option.

Chrome 1. From the main menu, click Friends.
2. Right-click the group you want to edit.
3. Click Edit this Group.
4. Click camera icon on the profile icon > Select from computer.
5. Select the photo you want to set and click Open.

Changing group cover photos You can use this feature on devices aside from LINE for Chrome sub devices.
Main device
Users in Japan 1. Tap the Chats tab > the Friends tab at the top of the screen.
2. Tap Groups > the group you want to configure.
3. Tap and hold the cover photo.
4. On iPhone/iPad: Tap Take group cover photo or Change profile cover photo.
    On Android: Tap Change profile cover photo.
5. Take or select a photo.
6. Adjust the photo size on the preview screen, then tap Next.
7. Edit the photo any way you like, then tap Done.

Users outside Japan 1. Tap the Home tab > Groups > the group you want to configure.
2. Tap and hold the cover photo.
3. On iPhone/iPad: Tap Take group cover photo or Change profile cover photo.
    On Android: Tap Change profile cover photo.
4. Take or select a photo.
5. Adjust the photo size on the preview screen, then tap Next.
6. Edit the photo any way you like, then tap Done.

Sub device
iPad/Android 1. Tap the Home tab > Groups > the group you want to configure.
2. Tap and hold the cover photo.
3. On iPad: Tap Take group cover photo or Change profile cover photo.
    On Android: Tap Change profile cover photo.
4. Take or select a photo.
5. Adjust the photo size on the preview screen, then tap Next.
6. Edit the photo any way you like, then tap Done.

Windows/Mac 1. From the main menu, click Friends.
2. Right-click the group you want to edit.
3. Click Edit this Group.
4. Click camera icon on the cover photo.
Note:
- If you've already set a profile cover, select Select photo.
- Selecting Delete profile cover will reset it to the default photo.
5. Select the photo you want to set and click Open.
6. Edit the photo any way you like, then click Save.
